A little disappointed to see the emotinal support was so under-developed and list last in each case. Fathers are crucial in modeling good emotional expression and behavior. Also, having completed a recent critical review for my prelims in my doctoral work, fathers who massaged their infants increased the quality of their interaction with their infants and the infant increased their initiation of engagment with the father (sustained for over a year). This means when dad walked through the door the baby did more to interact with him or get him to interact with them!
